These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BetterVC at bettervc.io and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must meet the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.

3. Service Description

BetterVC provides realtime proximity-based voice chat with lobby features, including movement-based audio behavior and host moderation controls.

Features may change over time, and we may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the Service.

4. No Built-In Recording

BetterVC does not provide built-in recording or transcription for live lobby audio in the current product.

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding audio recording, notice, and consent when using third-party tools or device-level recording features.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, abusive, harassing, or fraudulent activity.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, security, or performance of the Service.
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Upload or transmit malware, harmful code, or abusive automated traffic.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent identity/affiliation.
• Use the Service to violate the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights.

6. Moderation and Enforcement

We may investigate and take action for suspected violations, including warnings, restrictions, suspension, removal of content/access, or account termination.

Lobby hosts may have additional in-lobby controls (for example lock, mute, or kick). Host controls do not limit our own enforcement rights.

7. Fees and Plans

BetterVC may offer free and paid plans. Pricing, limits, and feature availability may change.

If paid plans are enabled, additional billing terms may apply at checkout and will control for billing matters.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, design, and branding, is owned by BetterVC or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party infrastructure and integrations. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability
